Yey! People out there who still read my journal:
I'm taking a break from DA...a forced hiatus of sorts.
I'm sick. And extra bussy too, so I don't have much time to draw or anything...though I try to keep my fanfics up.
I won't desert you anyhow. I will be still here watching and commenting and stuff.
Just let me get into track.
Even being sick, no force of nature could stop me from go to the anual comic convention of Barcelona.
There I met lot of people from DA and had a great great time.
THANK U GUYS!!
Today I'm happier and cheery because of you. Luv you all!!!
my best best friend of the world, who always come along... Though is more like I go along with her
he came from Madrid just for the event. His company is always welcomed. Thanks for being you, Katsu
even living pretty close we don't have much time to see each other. The other day he suffered two hours on the line to get the ticket. Once all together he stayed for another 3. It was a short time spent together but a wonderful one. I love our meetings, it's lovely having such an artist and great person around. Hope to see more of you. ANIMO CON TODO CARLOS!!
I meet her thanks to
SemiLau It was super getting to know each other. She was the brave one who have the courage to begin to sign on my notepad (it was a DeathNote) She started a funny chain of signatures where people even writted down how they will die. Hilarious!
She's a shy adorable girl. I think I scared her away pestering her like a fangirl....well, I was really excited and I'm a fangirl for her :3 so can't help it. Sorry Ana. Cuando hay un poco de gente me desmadro, pero a petit comitè soy muy fácil de tratar. Por favor, no me repudies
...Seguiré siendo una admiradora de tus obras aunque lo hagas, por eso
Gracias por las firmas!!!
Yeeey! She's fun.
And I met more people. I just forgot their names and I'm sure I can't say wich icon they have here on the DA. What a mess
It was great, anyway. :3
Oh! I met other artist who were publishing their works on a profesional level as:
I almost died crushed by Kazue Kato's fans while waiting in the line for those two girls to sign my book. (The two lines were side by side and the crazy fans of Kato-san invaded our line)
Anyway, returning to those awsome artists and nice people, it was cool to have a little chat with them while they signed down and drawn me a character of the story.
Just hiya! Ey! How are you doing? and little more. They're too popular and everyone reclaims their attention
I tried to talk to her for a bit. Impossible! She was too bussy at her stand selling and signing her works. It was nice seeing her again though. Take care and cheers!!
Those two keep beinf the sassy girls, dinamic duo. They're so much fun. They take ther time signing though. They start to argue like married couples and is quite amusing. Its a funny show. Un abrazo mu grande pa las dos! Y animo con todos los proyectos!!
I didn't know her but I will follow her steps from now on
A daring author with a personal signature on her work. Refreshing. She's really nice too. I couldn't stop smiling meanwhile she drew and writted down. I still don't understand how I was almost the only one with her comic there to her to sign up.
He signed me the first volume of Shinto. Quiet guy and hardworking.
Kenny Ruiz-I think he doesn't have DA account. It doesn't matter. This dude is awsome. I admire his work and all, but the best of him is his closeness with the readers. He always ask and explain and listen to you. It's easy to chat with him 'cuase Kenny is very open. I really really love how he study his work searching for mistakes, things which could have been better done. Reaching the way to improve. Wanting the feedback of you for that.
He's great at european comic but his works as mangaka are wonderful done. He cares a lot for every detail. Each scene, panel, the emotion he wants to pass on.
I got his signature this year too.
Thumbs up for the guy
I missed
who didn't come this year and I own him a good tweak of his ears
and
who couldn't come either
A shame. I wanted a signature on her last comicbook 'Hell's Heaven'
In short that was Saturday on the Comic con.
I'm already counting the days to the next one
